How to choose stamps

Start with the finished invitation.

Step 1

Weigh the finished invitation.

Include every card, liner, and enclosure.

Find the postage amount.

Use the invitation checker to find the postage amount.Check your finished invitation

Choose the stamp value.

Use one stamp if it covers the amount. Otherwise, combine valid stamps, including intact vintage postage.

Place the stamps.

Put them on the front, in the upper-right corner. Don’t overlap them.

Check special details first.

Exterior wax seals, ribbon, rigid pieces, or uneven contents may require extra postage. Take one finished invitation to the Post Office before you mail the full batch.
